:: PRESENTATION  

The Foundation for Training, Qualification and Employment in the Metal Sector (Fundación Metal Asturias), constituted in February of 2003, is a non profit organization, with the participation of the Principality of Asturias, the Trade Unions: UGT Asturias, CC.OO. Asturias and the Councils of the cities Gijón and Avilés.

The activity carried out responds to a double objective:

• To promote training and professional qualification of the workers and the unemployed.
• To improve employment in the metal sector industry.
